Divine Stage Works’ performance of STOOPS! closed this weekend. Three out of five shows sold out and the audience loved it - laughed throughout. It was such an amazing experience and I LOVED LOVED LOVED every minute of it - Peyton’s concept and direction, the production quality and my fellow actors - all amazing. I am also proud of myself for doing this show for so many reasons. And…my fellow cast mate who is a professional actor just sent me this email which topped off everything for me:
I just wanted to share my boss’s praise with you. He’s an Equity Stage Manager and was so happy and proud of the show but when we were discussing it your name came up. He was extremely complimentary of your involvement in every scene, your character work/gestures/articulation, but his biggest compliment was on how good a “listener” you were on stage. High praise that you well deserve, lady!

‘Chaos to Couture’: Preview the Met’s Punk Fashion Exhibition
Punk has always been inextricably (sometimes physically) bound up with fashion, art, and the ordered disorder of each. Enter PUNK: Chaos to Couture, a big, gorgeous book published in conjunction with a show of the same name at the Metropolitan Museum of Art that’s filled with photographs and essays that consider the punk aesthetic as it was interpreted by high fashion. The exhibit runs from May 9 through August 14 and is sure to be an absolute knockout; preview some of its most striking images below.
